I thought Streetlight Manifesto was on Victory Records? What's up with that? Q. Is this a question? Q. Are you guys hiring or accepting interns? A. Sorry, but if we are looking for new hires or interns, it most likely won't be via this site. A bad experience with hiring a fan of one of our artists led to this decision. Back to top Q. Can i get a promo/advance copy of a record? A. As of right now, we aren't doing promos or advance copies. As a throw back to the days when a record's release date actually meant something and was looked forward to, we prefer to let everyone hear our records on the same day: no leaks, no favors, and no one is special. We plan on keeping it this way for the foreseeable future. (This is not the case with co-releases with other labels, obviously) Back to top Q. Can i send in my demo / Will you sign my band? A. Probably not. OK, maaaaybe. Although we are always looking for new bands to work with, record and release music for, we're more of a "don't call us, we'll call you" type of company. Do your thing, if we hear you and like you, we will contact you. It never hurts to send in links to your music, but once again, if we're interested, we will contact you. Also, very important rule of thumb: we're not interested in homogeny among our acts, so if your music sounds like any of the artists we already work with, or is in the same genre, we're very likely not going to put it out. Sorry! Back to top Q. How many people work at PMC? A. PMC is run by two full time employees, two part timers, and the occassinal input and help of a few friends. Back to top Q. I thought Streetlight Manifesto was on Victory Records? What's up with that? A. Streetlight Manifesto are still contractually obligated to release music with Victory. Their being on our roster reflects a deal we have with Victory where we co-release project-type records. You'll see what we mean soon enough. Also, since we're not really (just) a record label, we do much more for and with Streetlight than just co-release some of their future records. Back to top Q. Is this a question? A. Yes it is.
